Disclaimer: SW:TPM's characters are George Lucas', and very
emphatically not mine.
My young one, have I wakened you?
Forgive my outcry; go you back to sleep;
the night is passing still;
you should in slumber be until
the day breaks into morning true.
(I do refuse to let you see me weep.)
Close then your searching eyes;
disturb no more the air with sighs
of worry (nor do you now need
to see the visions that upon me fell
--of you, in grief, and with
a golden child, born half of myth--
Who is the child? Where does this lead?
Whate'er may be, I vow to keep this knell
from sounding; I will find
him, watch him--leave these dreams behind.)
Rest now (I must pursue this seed
unto its source. Until then)...all is well.
