I've been a Jedi Knight for thirty-five years. It has been
everything for me. I've guided my life by the Code, by its
philosophy if not always by its exact words. And now, in less
than one day, I broke everything I lived for. And I don't
regret it a bit.
There is no emotion; there is peace.
I let myself be ruled by emotion. I put my love for him above
anything else. The mission, the Jedi, the Republic, my own
life. My peace is in his arms and I wouldn't hesitate to do
anything to get him back in mine.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
I threw my serenity to the wind. For first time in my adult
life, I let all my restraints go free, I focused everything I
am to a single purpose: save him. And I felt so alive.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
I wouldn't claim ignorance to save myself. I knew what I was
doing when I stormed into the mansion, lightsaber ignited and
flashing, going after the ones who dared to kidnap my Obi-Wan.
I would accept the consequences of my acts if he's all right.

I lost count of all the blood I shed today. I have enough in my
lightsaber and clothes to suppose I ended a lot of lives.
Everyone who got in my way was sliced without a second thought.
The worst part is that I couldn't find the slightest remorse in
my soul.

I'm finished as a Jedi, I knew it from the start. My sins are
too grave, the Council won't overlook them. But I didn't want
him to follow my damnation, he still has a chance.
He's battered and bruised, a Force collar blocking his powers.
My blood is boiling, my rage guides my arm. I slice that son of
a bitch they call a crown prince in front of him, some blood
spills on the remainder of his clothes.
He don't lets me speak. When I free him, he throws himself into
my arms, mindless of my blood-stained clothes and skin and
kisses me with everything he has, letting all his shields fall.
I couldn't help but answer with the same intensity and
commitment. A revelation and a damnation at once.

One of his captors is still alive, my blow wasn't fatal. But I
haven't time to react. He grabs my lightsaber and, in a swift
movement, cuts his head from his shoulders. No vacillation, no
regret, only a slight satisfaction of vengeance and the warmth
that we're now together in this. He turns around, grabs my head
and kisses me again, a kiss that claims for my very soul.

I don't know what we are or what we'll do. We are no longer
Jedi, but I can't swear we are Sith either. We take the first
ship out the planet before the planetary government would be
aware of what we did. To have cut in half countless citizens,
the crown prince included, will surely upset them. It's headed
to Tatooine, but that's not important. It's not Coruscant or
any other of the planets with Jedi Temples, that's all that
matters.
The Council will send someone after us, I'm sure of that. We
are powerful, we are good, we know too much.
I don't care.
We are together for this lifetime and beyond, we are one in
body and soul. They could send whoever they want, they could
come after us themselves. Nothing matters, they'll end like the
ones who dared to hurt my Obi-Wan.
He kisses me, I'm pounding into him. He's all that counts.
