His name was Obi, he was a Jedi
With a plait of braided hair and a mesmerising stare
He was in training, and dreamed of knighthood
So while they flew from star to star, his Master taught him how
to spar
On missions, tests and more, his Master keeping score
Obi was young and he had Qui-Gon
Who could ask for more?
Then on Naboo - a noble nation
Desired by the Trade Federation
There on Naboo - a revelation
Though a high price to pay at the end of the day
There on Naboo....they fell in love
His name was Darth Maul, he was a Sith Lord
A stunning sight in red and black, goading the Jedi at his
back
They had him cornered, and hurried over
While Qui-Gon ran to the attack, Obi was powerless and
trapped
And then the sabres flew; one light-blade versus two
A flash of light and a lifeless body
But just who slew who?
There on Naboo - that noble nation
Resisting the Trade Federation
There on Naboo - fighting invasion
Where their lives went astray, and some kid saved the day
There on Naboo....he lost his love
His name is Obi, he's still a Jedi
Even though his Master's gone, still his legacy lives on
Now it's Anakin, who he must Master
Though his anger's feared by some, who knows how great he might
become?
So Obi must be strong, though he still mourns Qui-Gon
No love and no Jedi lives forever
But the Force goes on!
As does Naboo - that noble nation
Escaped from the Trade Federation
