How do I feel?

I have seen this over and over

Since before I knew I had the gift

Since before I even knew what death was.

How do I feel?

A Jedi has no need of regrets

For the light has been my gift

It has been my reward and reason

For a life that others would see as empty

Until now.

How do I feel?

Oh love, the light, my serenity is lost

For I know this play well and

I know how it ends

And now I cannot even tell you

Even now

When a moment becomes forever.

How do I feel?

I have seen this over and over

And was ready, sometimes even more so

When the darkness came

Before you came..........

Oh, love, no longer am I ready

Not now.

How do I feel?

The shields disapear, I fight

And when the blow burns my heart

The pain cannot drown out my sadness.

That morning, as you meditate, the sunlight

making a halo, your eyes open - beautiful.

And you smile

Oh love, I wish I had told you.
