Alone in his quarters, he watched the tape three times in a
row. Eyes slitted, stroking himself underneath his robes, he
stared at the scene that burned in his mind.
Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon making love, on the floor of their kitchen.
He turned the sound up, closed his eyes. Fantasizing himself in
place of Obi-Wan. Pulled on his straining cock harder, faster.
He groaned.
/Should be me...Sith, it's so good....Qui-Gon!!/
Hips flying up off the chair, he sprayed the inside of his
robes, a sticky flood that made them cling.
Gasping, he placed a forearm over his eyes. "Not enough, my
love. I want the real thing. But how?"
Calming his breathing, he took the tape out. "My own keepsake
for cold nights."
Rearranging his robes, he headed for the bathroom. "I need a
plan, but what to do?"
"Strange."
"How so, Master?"
Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon awaited further word from the Council. The
emergency session was postponed. Windu had only indicated that
it was a matter of grave seriousness, and that they were to
stand by.
Still, Qui-Gon was nervous. "Why insist on our presence, then
postpone?"
Jade eyes were hopeful. "That's a good sign then, isn't it?
Perhaps it doesn't involve...us or Kay'bee."
Qui-Gon paced. "I doubt it, padawan. I've dealt with the
Council and their machinations for a long time. And I know how
they think. It's not beyond them to issue a summons while they
investigate allegations."
"Master, please" Obi-Wan indicated for him to sit at the study
table. "You're wearing out the carpet. We'll hear from the
Council when it's time."
Qui-Gon looked at him lovingly. "Amazing. You are so calm. Tell
me, who is the Master and who the Padawan here?"
"You are" Obi-Wan patted the chair. "Now please-"
Qui-Gon sat down, pulling the chair alongside Obi-Wan. He
stroked the spiky hair, touched high cheekbones.
Leaned into the warm mouth. "Force, I should just-"
The intercall buzzer rang loudly.
"The Council!!" Obi-Wan bounded to his feet.
Qui-Gon held him, looked up. He smiled softly. "Not so calm, it
would seem. Where went my stoic padawan?" he teased.
Emerald eyes blazed with apprehension. "How can you just sit
there, we've got to do something!"
Qui-Gon was pointedly quiet, looking at him.
Obi-Wan gleaned the point. He laughed nervously.
"One minute I'm telling you to be calm, then I'm
going off the deep end!"
Qui-Gon stood, pulling him along. "Let's take the call" he said
softly.
They approached the main council chamber, footsteps echoing
quietly in cavernous halls.
As they closed on the large doors, Obi-Wan slowed a bit.
Qui-Gon turned to him.
//Obi-Wan?//
The younger man stared at him, eyes too bright. Qui-Gon reached
for his hand, pulling him into a hug. Obi-Wan was shaking.
"Ssh. Anticipate nothing, we will find out" he whispered.
Obi-Wan didn't trust his voice. /Sorry. Just...reacted before I
could control./ he held on tight.
Qui-Gon released him slowly. "Ready now?"
Slow smile. "As much as I'll ever be, I guess."
They turned and walked inside. The majority of the Council were
there, seated in the circular room.
Qui-Gon nodded slightly. Obi-Wan bowed.
"Greetings to the esteemed Council. How may we be of service?"
Qui-Gon asked.
Obi-Wan looked about, trying to get a feel for their situation.
The Council were grim faced, resolute.
We're done was all he could think.
Windu stood forward. "It is a matter most grave, Qui-Gon.
Something was brought to our attention. It involves Jedi
activity."
Qui-Gon frowned. "I...don't understand." What is he
saying?
Windu paced around them, arms folded behind his back. He stared
briefly at a jittery Obi-Wan.
"It would seem that certain facts have come to light. Facts
about you and Obi-Wan."
Obi-Wan felt his heart race. It's blown, it's over...
"I was amazed" Windu continued, "and duly surprised. In all my
years I would never have suspected!"
Qui-Gon was at a loss for words. "Mace, it wasn't Obi-Wan's
fault...it was my responsiblity..."
Obi-Wan cut in. "No, Master! If I hadn't..."
"SILENCE, both of you!!" Windu boomed. "Adtweer herself told me
of this!"
In unison, they gawked at her.
"But...how would you know?" Qui-Gon stammered in
disbelief. "You mean you saw what was on the imager?"
"Why wouldn't I know!" the slender Master returned. She smiled
widely at Qui-Gon. "What imager? I already know of
your...talents."
He stared at her.
"Master Windu, please!" Obi-Wan interrupted. "Don't punish my
Master, he's a good man. Kay'bee is a liar anyway!"
"What's Kay'bee got to do with this, padawan?" Windu asked. "He
submitted ideas as well?"
"All the wrong kind!" Obi-Wan answered without thinking. He
turned to Adtweer.
"Master Adtweer, I can't imagine what he could have said, but-"
She waved her hand, cutting him off. "What are you talking
about, padawan? Have you gone mad? I've not spoken to Kay'bee
about anything."
"Wait" Qui-Gon was lost. "Kay'bee didn't come to you?"
She glared at him in exasperation, grey eyes flashing. "Come to
me for what, Qui-Gon? Have you hit your head as well?"
Qui-Gon held his head. "I think...our channels are crossed."
Windu burst out laughing. So did the rest of the Council.
If I go out and come back this will make sense Obi-Wan
pondered, struck.
Qui-Gon was also stupefied. "What-is going on here?"
Windu clapped a hand on his shoulder. "We're throwing a
birthday party for Yoda, and we heard that you and your padawan
are excellent party planners. Are you up to the job?"
Obi-Wan wanted to melt into the floor. His eyes closed in sheer
gratitude.
Qui-Gon numbly looked about the Council chamber, noting all the
now bright and cheerful faces. "You-"
"Had you going there, didn't we?" Gaar bellowed, laughing
heartily. "How about it, now? Done saving the universe long
enough to have a little fun?"
Qui-Gon shrugged, quirked a smile. "We would seem to
be...outnumbered. Obi-Wan?"
Jade eyes were shining. "An excellent project, Master. I look
forward to the challenge."
"It's done, then" Windu smiled. "Just provide us with a list
and schedule so that we can coordinate our efforts."
Qui-Gon raised a cautious eyebrow. "Anything else?"
"No, not unless you wish to confess something?" dark eyes
sparkled.
"I think not!" Qui-Gon nearly laughed himself.
"Then you are dismissed for your new assignment" Windu grinned.
Nodding quickly in acknowledgement, the two Jedi all but ran
from the chambers.
Once inside their living quarters, Obi-Wan collapsed into
Qui-Gon who in turn fell against the door.
The younger man was shaking again, but this time it was from
relief.
"I...ghods, that was crazy!" he breathed. "I thought it was the
end."
Qui-Gon closed his eyes. "As did I, beloved. And to think, I
never paid attention to the fact that Yoda wasn't there!"
Obi-Wan suddenly felt giddy. "I thought someone was
missing, but couldn't quite concentrate on it. We're
fortuneate, you know."
Liquid blue eyes sparked with fire. "I am fortuneate" he
tipped Obi-Wans' chin up.
Obi-Wan looked at his lover through long lashes. Sensuous lips
parted.
"Shall we celebrate?" he whispered, brushing lips.
Qui-Gon needed no inducement. He sucked the silky lips,
clutching Obi-Wan in a grip of iron.
Obi-Wan gripped the strong hips, tugging them forward.
/Come./
They slipped inside the bedroom, not leaving it for hours.
"Hey, Kay'bee!"
"Hmm?" He looked up from the library research center data base.
"Oh. Hi, Xavier. What's going on?"
The lean Jedi bounded forward. Thick eyebrows knitted together.
"Check this out. There's going to be a big party for Yoda. A
surprise, no less."
Kay'bee leaned back in his chair, incredulous. "You're kidding!
I'd hate to have to cater that affair! Goodness only
knows what Master Yoda likes to eat!"
Xavier clapped a hand on his shoulder. "Oh, you didn't hear?
Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are supposed to do the deed."
A dull ache stabbed at his gut. "Oh? Precisely what?"
Xavier sat down. "They are the official party emcees. Boy, have
they got a job ahead of them! I understand Council members from
as far as Yanos will be there."
Amber eyes lit. "Oh? It's going to be that big, eh?"
"You know it. Shoot, your master will probably be there too,
huh."
"Yes" Kay'bee smiled. "And I should accompany her" he grinned
wickedly.
Xavier frowned. "Ok, I know that look. What are you up to,
Kay'bee. Does this have something to do with Qui-Gon?!"
"Ssh!!" Kay'bee tried to shush him, waving. "Don't yell, for
force sake. Someone might hear you. I need your help."
Xavier shook a finger at him. "I know you. Don't even
think about starting up again. I know you got it bad for
Qui-Gon-"
"I don't wish to talk about it!"
"You'd better. Sure, you could get him in a compromising
situation, but at what cost? He still wouldn't love you."
Gold eyes glared. "You don't know that. Even he doesn't
know that. I'm no child, Xavier. I know he doesn't love me now.
However, given the proper opportunity...I sure could give him
something to think about."
Xavier leaned back, long arms folded. "What have you done? You
mean he made a move?"
Kay'bee shook his head. "Not exactly. But there is a strong
attraction between us."
Pale blue eyes narrowed. "You made a move, then. What
happened?"
"I kissed him. He returned the kiss with some serious heat"
amber eyes glazed over at the memory.
Xavier leaned forward. "Now this is interesting. Then
what?"
Kay'bee snorted. "Obi-Wan burst in. I never got another
chance."
Xavier shook his head. "I don't know, Kay'bee. You know the
Code..."
"Tell it to Obi-Wan!!"
"What! You mean he...and Qui-Gon?"
"You got it."
Xavier leaned back, whistled. "Woo. No wonder you're in a bend.
But wait, are you sure? I mean, what proof do you have?"
Kay'bee smirked. "I've got them on tape."
Blue eyes grew round. "What are you going to do with it?"
He sighed. "At first...I thought about revenge. Now? I'm not so
sure."
Xavier sighed. "You really love him, don't you?" pale eyes were
sympathetic.
Kay'bee looked down. "If only I could get a real chance, I
would make the most of it."
His friend looked about, lowered his voice. "This could get us
both busted, but I can't stand to see you suffer like this.
What do you need for me to do?"
Gold eyes brightened with hope. "You'd really help me? Risk
that much?"
Xavier shrugged. "I'm a dope for love, what can I say. But
Kay'bee...we'll have to be extremely careful. Do you have a
plan in mind?"
Kay'bee gripped his hands tight. "You're the best friend I ever
had! I have this idea..."
Xavier grinned in conspiracy. "And does this 'idea' involve a
certain party?"
Kay'bee looked at him in mock innocence. "Did I say
that?"
Slow, draggy kisses. Damp skin, heavy breathing. Hard strokes,
soft caresses.
Two Jedi twined in love and lust, exchanging heat and promises.
Obi-Wan nipped along the strong neck, down to the collarbone.
Wet tongue teased a hollow in the throat. Busy hands stroked
the big body beneath the sheets.
Qui-Gon gasped in pleasure, eyes pinched shut. "Aaah, Obi. A
perfect ending to a surprising day."
The tongue slipped across a round pec to a nipple. "Mnnth. I
haven't tasted all of you yet. What did you say?"
"Ugh!" He shivered. "Only that...I feared for the worst when we
went to the Council this morning."
Obi-Wan kissed the full lips. "I was terrified. That chamber
scene was screwy. Who could have known the Council wanted to
plan a party!" he chuckled.
Qui-Gon gave a brilliant smile. "It was really pretty funny.
But perhaps this also means Kay'bee won't be a concern."
Green eyes darkened. Obi-Wan leaned into him, holding on
tightly. "It means nothing of the sort, Qui-Gon!" he flared.
"Obi-Wan!"
Obi-Wan sat up, irritated. "It's not the end. He's crazy, I
tell you. And he'll stop at nothing to have you!"
A big hand tugged at the long braid. "And do I have a
say in the matter?!" the deep voice held equal irritation.
Obi-Wan turned to him. "I don't want to fight about this. I
trust you...it's Kay'bee I don't trust."
Deep eyes regarded him. "Why are you convinced Kay'bee is so
ruthless? He isn't evil, you know."
Obi-Wan thought carefully. "I know he isn't evil. But he loves
you with a mad desperation. I doubted the intensity of his
feelings at first, but I was wrong. And...I can relate to it."
Qui-Gon touched the bronzed shoulders. "How?" he asked quietly.
Obi-Wan held him in an intense gaze. "Because it's how I feel
myself. I think I would be capable of anything to have you, be
with you..."
The blue eyes were velvet. "Obi-Wan. We are bonded. You are my
life, my love. And this bed is the one I'm in. Now come
here" he pulled him back down.
Obi-Wan closed his eyes, moving into another long kiss.
/Overreacted again./
//There is no war. You won a long time ago, beloved.//
Sticky lips pulled free. "Glad to hear it" Obi-Wan said
seductively, long lashes fluttering.
Dark eyes burned on him. "You talk too much."
Obi-Wan wiggled over him, slithering hotly. "What are you gonna
do about it?"
"This!!" Qui-Gon plunged tongue into the wet mouth.
Not bad, Obi-Wan thought. It would be a hot night after all...
Kay'bee snuggled in the comfort of his own bed, content for the
first time in months.
A plan of action, that's the ticket. he thought. He
glanced over at the locked cabinet where he kept a very special
tape. He smiled.
