And now as Paul Harvey always says (and I don't own him either
so please don't sue me Mr. Harvey, you won't get anything
either) " And now for the rest of the story"
It was another boring mission as far as Obi-Wan Kenobi was
concerned. Nothing of great interest. Just another nameless
planet in a list of many. He was bored, plain and simple. He
wasn't even allowed to attend the talks with his Master because
the Salrans refused to have a child present. At least that's
what they told Qui-Gon the first day when they had entered the
main discussion room.
"We do not allow children in this room, Jedi"
"He is my apprentice"
"It matters not, Jedi. He is not allowed"
"Obi-Wan, perhaps it would be best if you go wait in our
quarters" Qui-Gon gave him a look saying that he didn't agree
with what was happening.
"Yes, Master."
And with those two words he had been trapped in this room with
nothing to do but mediate and read the two datapads on the
negotiations for the past week. The room wasn't even big enough
for him to do any physical exercises. He was becoming more
bored with each passing moment.
*A child. They called me a child. I'm 18 years old yet everyone
still treats me as though I'm 5. *
What made matters worse was the fact that even when Qui-Gon was
in the room he was still alone. The Jedi Master would come in
from after 14 hours of grueling negotiations, thoroughly
exhausted, mediate and go directly to bed, hardly saying more
than "Good night, Padawan" to Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan had no real idea how the negotiations were going. He
guessed not very well, in light of his Master's pure exhaustion
each night. Things between the Salrans and Davas must be worse
than they thought. He felt completely helpless. He had tried
sending some strength to Qui-Gon but it didn't seem enough.
Also Qui-Gon had become so distant this past week, actually
closing the bond between them. It had been so long since
Obi-Wan had to go without feeling his Master's familiar
presence in his mind. Qui-Gon had told him in one of the few
moments he spoke that Obi-Wan's restlessness was distracting
him during the negotiations and he couldn't afford to be
distracted. So therefore he blocked the bond.
Three days it had been. It wasn't making Obi-Wan's imposed
solitary any easier. Qui-Gon then suggested Obi-Wan meditate
more. Obi-Wan's thought on that was that he was already
meditating 10 hours a day. He asked Qui-Gon if he could at
least find someplace to practice his physical skills.
The response was that the Salrans would not allow Obi-Wan
anywhere outside of the room unless he was in the presence of
his Master because children were not allowed to wander about
without their guardian. Another one of the wonderful traditions
here on this blasted planet.
So Obi-Wan was stuck looking out the window all day. He
realized that he hadn't even been outside once since they
arrived 8 days ago. *Well,* he thought ruefully, back to
meditating. *I'll be the best at meditation in all of the Jedi.
Ever. * A few moments later all hell broke loose.
-Later that night-
It had been another grueling twelve hours. He had missed the
evening meal with Obi-Wan again, as he had every night since
they had arrived on Salran. He missed his Padawan's company.
Just the gentle presence of the boy by his side or the gentle
whisper of their bond in his mind was a soothing balm to his
overly stressed soul.
Blocking the bond so Obi-Wan's restlessness would not leak
though had been the hardest thing Qui-Gon had ever done. It had
felt as if he had suffocated part of his soul. What made it
worse was that he knew it had injured Obi-Wan as well. He did
not have a chance to warn Obi of what he was going to do, and
did not have a chance to truly explain why he did so, only
mumbling to him that it was because of Obi's restlessness.
All Qui-Gon could hope for was that Obi did not feel he had
been abandoned, that something had changed in their
relationship and would never return.
Without the strength of the bond he was unsure of how his
beloved Padawan was truly feeling, but he could read the hurt,
concern, frustration, and fear on his face that he was trying
so desperately to hide. If Qui-Gon hadn't spent the last five
years with him, Obi probably would have succeeded in completely
hiding his emotions.
*I'll make it up to him. And tonight in my meditations I'll
remove the shields from the bond and strengthen it even more.
I'll make sure Obi-Wan never feels alone again* Thankfully they
had finally managed a peaceful accord just minutes ago and
Qui-Gon was on his way to his quarters.
*I'm sure Obi-Wan will be happy to leave this place in a few
days. The boy's been cooped up too long. Maybe tonight after I
meditate and remove these shields I'll take him for a scroll in
the gardens. They're absolutely breathtaking and I'm sure he
could use some fresh air. At least he'll be happy to know he
can accompany me to the celebration tomorrow night after the
treaty has been formally signed.*
He finally reached his door. *Yes, a walk in the gardens
tonight would be nice* he thought as the door opened for him.
But after taking two steps into the room all thought left him.
The room had been ransacked.
Pieces of broken furniture lay everywhere. And there in the
middle right next to the window laid his Padawan's tunic and
leggings. Ripped to shreds. Drops of crimson blood marring the
white cloth and surrounding floor.
Qui-Gon searched the rooms franticly, calling out desperately
for his Padawan. He quickly dismantled the shields that had
kept him from feeling Obi-Wan. He took a deep breath and tried
to release the terror that was clutching his heart. /Obi-Wan/
he thought, reaching out with the Force to make contact with
his Padawan.
He felt nothing. It was as if Obi-Wan Kenobi no longer existed.
-Earlier that day-
Obi-Wan had been sitting before the window meditating when the
door opened. *What's Master doing back so early? The
negotiations usually don't end for the day until several hours
after sunset, and it's only mid-morning.* With their mind link
blocked Obi-Wan had been unable to sense his Master's presence
the last several days and therefore naturally assumed it was
Qui-Gon. He was wrong. As he turned around to greet his Master,
he received a fist in his face. He hadn't even felt the three
men enter the room. One was human, another a Salran (bird-like
creature), and the third a Wookie. Before he could call out for
help, the man who had punched him, grabbed him by the neck and
gagged his mouth while one of the others bound his wrists and
ankles. He tried desperately to call out to the Force for help,
but he couldn't even feel the Force. It was as if it had
completely disappeared. He tried to put up as much of a fight
as he could.
"Are you sure he's not going to try any Jedi mind tricks on
us?"
"This little gizmo is a Force suppressor. He won't be able to
call on the Force at all. Otherwise, do you think we would have
ever been able to sneak up on him?"
Obi-Wan's eyes grew big. That's why he couldn't feel the Force.
He looked at the gadget the man held in his hands. He knew that
that was the main obstacle between him and his freedom. If he
could somehow destroy it. But then again if he couldn't, there
would be no escape.
"Boy, you won't be needing those clothes where you're going."
The Salran began ripping off his clothes, taking bits of skin
as well as he scratched Obi-Wan with his claw like hands. Obi
struggled valiantly, but was left shivering, naked on the
floor, bleeding from a dozen wounds. They rolled him in a rug,
and the Wookie slung him over his shoulder none too gently.
"Let's get him out of here before someone comes to check on the
brat." The human reached into the rug and put a hypo against
his neck, and with that consciousness left Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Qui-Gon called security immediately, and then contacted the
Council.
"Master Windu. Master Yoda. I'm in need of your assistance."
The holographic image of Mace Windu and Yoda shimmered before
him.
"Agitated, you seem. Problem there is. Disturbance in the
Force, I feel." Yoda observed.
"Obi-Wan has been abducted, Master." He then described how he
found the state of the room. "I can't feel him Masters. It's as
if he doesn't exist. As if he has no touch on the Force
whatsoever. He's completely gone."
"Strange, this is"
"Yes, very strange. Do you feel any residual traces in the room
,Qui-Gon?" Mace Windu asked.
Qui-Gon closed his eyes, reaching out with the Force. "No,
Mace. The room is a complete blank. I can't even feel Obi-Wan's
presence here, and he spent the last 8 days in this room. Yet I
feel nothing. It's almost as if he never existed at all."
"No good this is. Join you we shall. Reach out for him, you
must continue. See you soon we shall."
"Yes, Master Yoda."
"We'll get there as soon as we can, Qui-Gon. Don't worry we'll
find him" With that they broke off the transmission.
*I just hope it's not too late when we do, Mace* thought a very
worried Qui-Gon Jinn.
~~~Elsewhere on the planet~~~
Obi-Wan woke up in a world of pain. Everything dark. A type of
fog seemed to surround his brain. He had no idea where he was.
All he knew was he was on a metal table, spread eagle, and the
air smelled musty and damp. He also felt a cold metal band
around his neck.
/Master/ he closed his eyes, willing the Force to him. /Master,
please help me/ But no matter what he tried the Force wouldn't
come. He almost sobbed. He had never felt so alone and
frightened in his life. He tried doing a relaxation technique
he had learned and mastered as a child.
While not as successful as it would have been used in tandem
with the Force, it at least kept him from sobbing and helped
clear his mind a little. He remembered the Force suppressor. *I
have to warn Master. They could kidnap him too if he's caught
unawares. I need to warn him, but how?*
He tried relaxing his muscles, but realized that his body was
stretched taut over the table, and his muscles and joints were
beginning to protest. He tried taking a calming breath, but
something in the air also caused pain and caused a coughing fit
that made his stretched muscles feel as though they might be
torn from the action.
It had been 10 hours since the security officers had left.
Qui-Gon had decided to question people in and around the palace
to see if anyone had seen his Padawan. Nobody had seen anyone
in the vicinity of their quarters all day, and no one had seen
anyone matching Obi-Wan's description.
He was getting desperate though. He knew that the longer
Obi-Wan went unfound the less likely they would find his
beloved alive.
Now, after 3 hours of asking and hoping for the answer he
wanted, he decided to go back to his quarters and try
meditating to see if he could reach Obi-Wan. But he had an
awful feeling in the pit of his stomach, that the whole Council
putting their powers together would be unable to reach his
beloved Padawan.
*No* he thought. *I refuse to accept that we'll find him in any
condition other than alive. Mace and Master Yoda will be here
in 14 hours, and if I haven't found him by then, the three of
us combined will definitely be able to find him. I won't accept
any other outcome.
*Not when I never even got to tell him how I feel. Ten months
it's been since his birthday. Ten months I've had the chance to
tell him I love him. But did I, even once? No. I was waiting
for the perfect moment, the perfect time, and now that time may
never happen. I was also waiting to make sure he felt the same
way. Even if he didn't...no I'm not going to think in past
tense...even if he doesn't share those feelings with me, I
still should have told him so he would know that he was loved.
That he was cherished.
*What do I do? Not only do I not tell him, but I've been
withdrawing myself from him so he wouldn't find out. And then
here I completely block our bond. Our bond which would have
told me he was trouble, and we wouldn't have lost eight
precious hours which could have been spent looking for him. We
might even have caught the attackers in the room. *
He realized that this was not getting him anywhere. He needed
to center his mind. Let his fear and anxiety flow into the
Force. Only then would he be of any help to Obi-Wan. He sat in
the middle of the room, Obi's ripped tunic clutched on his lap
and started his meditation. He let all the fear and anger and
anxiety flow out of him. He then tried calling out to his
beloved again, knowing deep down that Obi-Wan wouldn't hear,
but still having to try.
/Obi-Wan, my beloved, we'll find you. I'll find you. When I do
I'll never let you go again. I'll tell you how much I love you
everyday. Just stay alive long enough for me to find you, love.
I can't live without you. Please hang on. I love you/
Many hours after consciousness returned to him, Obi-Wan was
still in a cell bound spread eagle on a steel table. He had
been going in and out of consciousness the whole time, not
really realizing where exactly he was. Finally the fog seemed
to clear and he tried to get a better look at his surroundings.
The room was very dark except for a single illumination device
hanging from a long cord from the ceiling.
He tried raising his head to take a look at his surroundings
but an unbelievable wave of nausea assaulted him and he laid
his head back done before it fell off. He tried reaching out
with the Force again, trying desperately to call his Master.
//Master? Qui-Gon?// It wasn't working, he still wasn't able to
feel the Force around him. *That damn Force suppressor must
still be working* It was like being blinded suddenly. He
shivered from the cold.
That was when he realized he was still completely naked except
for the cuffs on his wrists and ankles binding him to the
table, and the metal ring secured around his neck. That's also
when he heard the lone door to the room open.
A very tall man walked in. He was covered in a robe. A...yes,
it was, a Jedi robe. Obi-Wan released the breath he was holding
as the figure moved towards him. The man reached up to the hood
which covered his face and drew it back, and smiled done at
Obi-Wan with evident relief.
"Obi-Wan, thank the Force I found you. Masters Windu and Yoda
and I have been searching for you."
"Master. I don't know what happened. What are Masters Windu and
Yoda doing here?"
"After returning to our room and finding it in such a state I
called them. Oh Obi, I couldn't feel your presence in the
Force. I thought you had died for a moment."
"Well, I'm alive Master. Now please untie me so we can get out
of here before they discover us." Obi-Wan noticed that Qui-Gon
was rubbing his arm and leg but was making no move to untie
him.
"And miss this opportunity after wanting you for so long. Of
course I know you don't feel the same." Obi-Wan's eyes got
wide. "I love you too, Master. But can we please discuss this
elsewhere."
Qui-Gon smiled at him. "Ahhh, see I was right my Padawan. I
don't love you. I can't even stand you. I didn't want you on
Bandomeer until I realized what a beautiful man you would
probably one day become, of which I'm very pleased to see I was
right, and that you would be mine.
"Well, that and the fact that I never would have heard the end
of it from Yoda. Why else do you think I've blocked you the
past week. I'm afraid that your annoyingness to me is almost
greater than your beauty. Let's see if putting up with you is
still worth it." And with that he brutally shoved two fingers
up Obi-Wan's unprepared ass.
Tears were already slipping from Obi-Wan's eyes at Qui-Gon's
harsh words, and was unable to stifle the sob at the intrusion.
"Oh, you are so tight. Maybe I can put up with you for a few
more years, brat. At least until you become too loose to be
enjoyable." With that Qui-Gon removed his throbbing erection
from his leggings. It was huge.
Obi-Wan started sobbing, pulling at his chains, begging for
Qui-Gon not to do this. Not to take his virginity from him in
this way. That only made Qui-Gon's smile even bigger and more
lust-filled, and then with no preparation and no other warning
plunged his thickness into Obi-Wan's virgin ass.
Obi-Wan tried to stop the scream but couldn't. He keep
screaming as the man on top of him continued to rape him. He
could feel the blood dripping from each painful thrust.
He kept trying to fight, bucking to try and get Qui-Gon off
him. *Why?* He thought. *Why would he so brutally take
something I wanted to give him? I wanted him to be the first,
but I never imagined it like this.* "Why?" He sobbed out loud.
What seemed like an eternity later Qui-Gon climaxed, brutally
biting Obi-Wan's shoulder. Obi-Wan just lay there unable to
move from the pain and the big body that lay atop of him. "Oh,
that was better than I thought it would be."
Something was wrong. The voice wasn't deep enough. The
inflection was wrong. It wasn't Qui-Gon's voice. "I never
imagined Qui-Gon's pet would be this delicious." The bowed head
moved from Obi-Wan's bleeding shoulder and Obi-Wan saw his
face.
But it wasn't Qui-Gon. He looked into a slightly familiar face.
A face he hadn't seen in five years. A face with broken circle
scar on it. A face he hadn't seen since Bandomeer.
"Xanatos" came the barely audible reply.
"Yes. I'm glad to see you remember me, brat. To think I took
something you so wanted to give your Master. And I did it with
his face, how marvelous. At least part of your fantasy came
true. Unlike mine. I wanted to give him mine too.
"But he didn't want mine, and if he didn't want mine, trust me
he wouldn't want someone's who was forced onto him, someone
that he can't stand. Someone as worthless as you. Trust me, I
read his mind, what I said for him about not wanting you, it's
all true. That's why he blocked the bond with you."
"No. It's not true."
Xanatos laughed. "Yes it is my little slut. Well I must go.
I'll be back later."
Xanatos had gotten off the table and headed to the door while
tying his leggings back on. Obi-Wan saw him as he really was,
all dressed in black. He couldn't figure out how he thought it
was Jedi brown or Qui-Gon.
He lay there sobbing, not knowing what was really going on, but
telling himself that Xanatos had lied about Qui-Gon's feeling.
He couldn't handle it if what he said was true. He didn't
really know what to believe though, at that time all he knew
was pain and humiliation and fear.
Xanatos paused and turned back to him at the door, and in
Qui-Gon's voice said "Welcome to hell, Padawan". Obi-Wan could
still hear his laughter after the door had closed behind him.
Several hours had past. Obi-Wan had finally stopped sobbing
when he heard the door open again. He couldn't stop the
shivering caused by both the coldness in the cell and the
terror that was growing inside of him. Xanatos stepped through
the door with a sinister smile plastered on his face. Two men
accompanied him.
"Ah, and how is my little pet doing? Ready to play some more?"
He laughed as Obi-Wan barely contained his sob. "I hope you
don't mind but I brought a couple of friends with me to play.
I'm sure you won't mind me sharing my 'toy' with them. After I
have another round that is."
With that he freed his erection again, and laughed as Obi-Wan
struggled against his bonds screaming "No!" with his hoarse
voice. "I told you boys he was a spit fire. I think you both
will enjoy him as much as I did that first time."
Xanatos started to rape him again. When he was done he stood by
and watched as the other two men had their turn as well.
Obi-Wan had almost passed out several times, but Xanatos had
used the Force to keep him from doing so. He laughed as the
fight drained out of Obi-Wan, and that all Obi-Wan could now do
was scream silently, no longer having a voice, as his body was
repeatedly violated.
After three hours of the three of them sharing his body,
Xanatos called a stop to it. "It's time for the next bit of
fun, don't you think , pet?"
Obi-Wan tried to spit on him, but his mouth was so dry from the
screams. "Thirsty? Yes I imagine you would be. I don't believe
I've ever heard anyone scream so loud or so long. No wonder
Qui-Gon has no respect for you. What a pathetic Jedi you are. A
real Jedi could put it out of his mind, even with a Force
dampening collar around his neck. I can understand why Qui-Gon
didn't want you to begin with. He probably knew what a failure
as a Knight you would be. Too bad for him that he felt such
pity for you, hum."
Xanatos had gone to the corner and poured some water into a cup
from a pitcher. He returned to Obi-Wan's side and held the cup
to his cracked lips. "You're thirsty so drink." The water
tasted foul, but it was liquid and eased the dryness of his
throat. "Now what do you say, Padawan?" asked in Qui-Gon's
voice. "Mind your manners, Padawan, or you won't get any more.
Understand."
"Th-thank you." He rasped out.
Xanatos backhanded him with the hand holding the cup, the water
split onto his face and chest. "Thank you what?" When Obi-Wan
didn't answer he hit him again. "Thank you what?" Obi-Wan still
refused to answer. "You just made a mistake, pet. I was going
to show you a little leniency in this next part, but you can
forget that now. I'm going to have you begging to call me
Master." With that the torture began.
Qui-Gon stood at the hangar with barely controlled impatience.
He released a breath he didn't even realize he was holding when
he saw Mace and Yoda step off the transport. He greeted them.
"Master. Mace." He bowed.
"Any word on Obi-Wan yet, Qui-Gon?" Mace Windu asked.
"No. Nobody has seen him or his abductors. No one has even
claimed abducting him."
"Tell us, you will, all that has happened since here you
arrived."
"Yes, my Master." Qui-Gon related everything to them on the way
to the embassy. How the talks had been progressing to the
reason he had to block the bond to finding the rooms the day
before.
What he had done to search for his missing Padawan during the
last fourteen hours. How every lead turned into a dead end.
They finally reached the rooms he had been sharing with Obi-Wan
during their stay.
Qui-Gon watched as both Yoda and Windu reached out with their
senses trying to feel a presence of any kind. "Here the boy
was, you say? For a week?"
"Yes, Master Yoda, he didn't leave these rooms for eight days."
"Strange this is. Feel nothing of him I do."
"Neither do I. I only feel Qui-Gon's presence in this room."
"Force dampener they must have."
"Is there such a thing, Master. I've only heard of them in
legend."
"Unfortunately it does seem to be true. Yoda's right, Qui-Gon.
I can see no other explanation. Legend has it there are two
types that the Sith used. One which would dampen a whole room
which they used to sneak up on and capture unsuspecting Jedi,
and the second type which was in the form of a neck band which
only affected its wearer used to keep a Jedi after capturing
him."
"Good this is not. Worry not, Padawan. Find him we will."
"Yes, Master. I know between the three of us we will be
successful in tracking him down." Qui-Gon felt considerablely
better now that two of the most powerful Masters were here to
help him in his search. After all, three minds were better than
one. With that they formalized a strategy of searching. A few
hours into their new search they felt a very brief brush from
Obi-Wan. Not enough to tell how he was except that he was
alive. Qui-Gon sighed in relief knowing that. He knew they
would soon find him.
Obi-Wan very slowly made his way back to consciousness. His
whole world consisted of pain. In fact he was pretty sure that
not a centimeter of his body wasn't in pain.
He shuddered as he thought of what Xanatos had just done to
him, the torture he had inflicted. He heard someone whispering
soothing words to him, gently holding him. He forced his eyes
open and looked into his Master's face. He tried to pull away,
feeling what was left of the skin on his back tear even more.
"Sssh, Padawan. Relax, it's okay. I'm here. I'm going toter. That his
Master had finally come for him. That all Xanatos had said was
a lie. He smiled in relief and buried his face into his
Master's chest, weeping in joy.
He could feel his Master's strong arms surrounding him and the
bounce of his steps as he hurried out the door and down the
hall, could hear lightsabers in the background. Qui-Gon raced
down the hall with Obi-Wan , cutting corners trying to get away
from the footsteps following them.
He ducked into a doorway. "We'll wait in here for a minute,
Padawan. We should be safe. Here let me set you down so I can
check you." Obi-Wan felt the cold metal on his torn back as
Qui-Gon laid him on the table. Then he felt cold metal on his
wrists as Qui-Gon raised his arms to check them, and then again
on his ankles. He belatedly realized that Qui-Gon had just tied
him to the table. He struggled against his bonds.
Qui-Gon laughed. "You were always so gullible, *Padawan*"
spitting out Obi-Wan's title as if it was a curse. "Do you
honestly think I would come after you? I'm finally rid of you.
Your such a weak minded fool, Obi. If you weren't..." suddenly
Qui-Gon's face and voice turned into Xanatos' "I wouldn't be
able to trick you like that."
He laughed as Obi-Wan started sobbing again. "You really
thought it was him, hum. Well, I hate to tell you this,
*Padawan* but your beloved Master is quite happy without you.
In fact he's barely even noticed that you're gone. In fact he
looked quite happy when I spied on him earlier. Made some sort
of comment to one of the delegates about how he felt a weight
was finally removed from his neck."
Obi-Wan's heart was broken. All of his fears had come to pass.
He had always been afraid that Qui-Gon had only taken him on
out of pity, and was only waiting for him to screw up badly
enough to say "See I told you, he wasn't good enough to be a
Knight, but you've all made me waste my time. Well, I wash my
hands of him, I have much better things to do with my time."
It was his most frequent nightmare, his Master saying those
words and then turning and walking away from him with contempt
on his face. All the other Master's gazing on him with pity,
not knowing how the great Master Jinn had put up with such an
unworthy apprentice for so long. Yoda shaking his head saying,
"Wrong I was, happens it does. A failure you are. My sight you
must leave."
He had thought he had finally convinced himself that it was a
needless fear, that Qui-Gon did care for him. That maybe he
might even return Obi-Wan's feelings if he could just get
enough guts to tell Qui that he was in love with him.
But then he felt Qui-Gon withdrawing from him the past few
months, and then this mission happened, and all of his fears
started to come true. First with Qui-Gon ignoring him,
basically telling him he was in the way, making comments about
not wanting to put up with this nonsense anymore (of which at
the time Obi-Wan had convinced himself that surely Qui-Gon must
be referring to the talks, but now saw that that was an
incorrect assumption), and then finally blocking the bond.
Leaving Obi-Wan completely alone.
Xanatos was right. All the despair in his heart told him it was
true. And he knew then that Qui-Gon would never come to save
him, but that Xanatos would not let him die.
He looked at Xanatos' laughing face through his tears, his
silent sobs racking his body. He thought he couldn't feel
anymore pain. Then Xanatos removed a long and wide stick from
his cloak.
It was made out of metal, about twelve inches long and an inch
and a quarter wide with a rubber handle. "Do you know what this
is, pet? Hum? No? It's a pain stick. Quite brutal from what I
understand. Let's shall we?"
He put the metal end of the stick on Obi-Wan's forearm. The
metal was cool on his skin. Then Xanatos pushed a button on the
end and Obi jerked as a painful electrical current went
coursing through his arm.
It was twenty times more painful than everything Xanatos had
done to him combined. He never knew such pain existed. He
sobbed, trying to suck air into his tight chest, Xanatos using
the Force to keep him from passing out.
"Hmmm, nice, and that was the lowest setting. Let's see about
setting two." With that he placed the metal on one of his
nipples. Obi-Wan tensed up completely, the scream stuck in his
throat. He couldn't do anything but arch up off the table in
complete agony.
This one was even worse than the last one. Finally, what seemed
an eternity later, Xanatos let go of the button. He sucked in
as much air as his tortured lungs could take in while silent
tears rolled down his face.
Xanatos glided the metal over Obi-Wan's skin, lightly grazing
it. Every now and then pressing the button for either a second
or a minute, varying the setting between one and two. He kept
Obi-Wan guessing on when he would press it, at one point just
letting the metal touch his body like a lover's hands for five
minutes before holding the button for a minute at level two
near his groin, and then quickly shocking his testes at one for
a second. Obi-Wan thought the pain was never going to end.
"Hmmmm, I wonder." Obi-Wan cringed at the tone in his
tormentor's voice. Then he gasped as he felt the metal being
shoved up his torn ass. He thought he had lost his voice, but
through the dryness was able to start screaming, begging,
pleading, saying 'no' over and over.
Xanatos just laughed, and began to fuck him with it. After
several minutes he removed it from the sobbing boy's body.
"Maybe I'll be nice to you. Then again." With that he plunged
the stick back into him and pressed the button on the three
setting. Obi-Wan convulsed on the table, his whole world
erupting into unbelievable pain. Finally, mercifully, a minute
later Xanatos let him pass out as he let go of the button and
removed the stick from Obi-Wan's battered body.
All three heads of the Masters jerked up as they heard the
mental scream. Never before had any of them heard such anguish
and pain. It brought tears to all their eyes, Qui-Gon silently
weeping because he knew that mental signature. Yoda and Windu
tried to calm him. The security officers that were with them
tried to figure out what was going on.
Windu could never remember seeing Yoda's ears droop so low. He
knew that Obi-Wan had always been a favorite of Yoda's even
before he became Qui-Gon's Padawan. And he had to admit to
himself that he too had grown fond of the boy. Hell the whole
Council and most of the Master's favored Obi-Wan. How could
anyone not?
He honestly believed there had never been a child with a
sweeter and more mischievous disposition. And how he was able
to turn a man who had basically stopped caring about those
around him and was trapped in a pit of despair, into a man who
once again showed joy and love to those closest to him and
regained his heart he'll never know.
He owed Obi-Wan for returning the friend he never thought he
would see again after Xanatos' betrayal. Obi-Wan brought light
to everyone's life that he touched.
He had no doubt they would find the boy, but now he doubted if
they would find him alive.
"Wake up, slut!" Obi-Wan woke to cold water being thrown onto
his face. He had never been in so much pain before. He almost
fainted again, but Xanatos kept him from escaping to that dark,
peaceful place.
He very slowly opened his eyes to see Xanatos standing over
him. A smug smile of his face. "It's about time, you worthless
boy. How did Qui ever put up with you for so long. No wonder he
was in such a hurry to leave."
At Obi-Wan's wide eyes, Xanatos laughed. "That's right my
little whore. Your beloved Master has left you here. He left on
a transport this morning. I guess that just gives us more time
to have fun."
Xanatos turned partially around, addressing the other occupants
in the room. "I promised you three a bonus. Have fun with him,
but do not kill him understand. He's worth more to me alive
than dead." He smirked. "Enjoy."
Obi-Wan saw his three kidnappers come forward. Xanatos left,
closing the door on the half muted screams. As much as he
wanted to watch he had to go report in to his boss, and make
sure everything was still going as planned.
"Everything going as planned? We're on a tight schedule here
Bufog, I can't afford to get behind. When will it be ready?"
Xanatos looked nervously around the lab. He hated labs. Too
many bad memories in the past few years.
"In a few hours, sir. It's almost complete. I'm sure you and
your boss will be real happy with it. I do good work, sir.
They're never know the difference." They both looked down in
the ooze in the container. They could see the barest hint of
movement as the creature grew.
"Good. I just finished talking to the boss, and he's happy so
far. We need to keep him that way, do you understand Bufog?
"Yessir, no worry. It will be ready."
"Good. I'm going to go entertain myself until the. Let me know
when it's ready."
"Yessir."
With that, Xanatos stormed out of the lab. Eagerly rubbing his
hands on what he could do next to the battered apprentice's
body. He had read somewhere once of a torture technique of
inserting a glass rod in the victims penis, and then breaking
the rod. *Hmmm, I think I'm going to have to try that one.*
-8 hours later-
The three Jedi Masters' heads snapped up as one. "I feel him."
Qui-Gon said excitedly
"Yes, he's in danger though, unconscious from what I can tell."
"Removed the repressor they have, why I know not."
"I can find him now with the bond. Let's go."
"Padawan, wit. A trap it may be."
"We have to go now, Master. He's getting weaker. I can feel it.
He's dying."
"I'll go with him, Yoda."
"No, my pack get. With you I go too."
"Yes, my Master." Qui-Gon hurried to get Yoda's back pack,
placed him in it and settled it on his back.
"We must hurry Qui-Gon, he's getting weaker."
It took them an hour to reach the hidden lair. They expected
having to defend themselves from the moment they arrived, but
the dark castle seemed to be abandoned. They hurried through
the maze of corridors, passing rooms in which they could see
different types of torture equipment.
They finally reached a closed door. They could feel Obi-Wan's
waning life force behind the door. As they were about to open
it they heard a voice.
"Hello, Master. It's me, Xanatos, in case you forgot. I hope
you like the present I left you. He was a great deal of fun.
Thank you for letting me play with him. He was a truly
magnificent toy. I will always remember his delicious screams,
and that tight hot body." The recording then ending with the
evil laughter echoing throughout the hall.
"That bastard, I'll...."
"Qui-Gon, this anger you must release. Good for you Padawan it
is not. Hit you with my stick I will."
"Yes, Master." He turned his attention back to the door. It
took several minutes and all three Master's will to open the
door from its Force constraints." They entered the room, and
stopped dead at the sight before them.
There, on a metal table, lay Obi-Wan. Barely breathing. Blood
pooling all around him from hundreds of wounds. They could see
the horrible things Xanatos had inflicted to Obi-Wan's poor
body. The last of which was cutting his stomach open and
pulling his guts out, spelling "Too Late" on the floor.
Yoda closed his eyes. Mace gagged, then remembered Yoda's
position on Qui-Gon's back and moved to remove the ancient
Master from his pack. Qui-Gon, not noticing anything else
around him, walked slowly to Obi's side as the pack was
removed. He took the still right hand in his noticing some of
the fingers were missing. He shut his eyes, he didn't even want
to think about what Xanatos had done with them. He prayed to
all the gods on all the worlds he had ever been on that he
would open his eyes, and this would have all been a nightmare.
He opened his eyes. The naked, broken body still lay before
him, a labored breathe barely being inhaled. Then those golden
eyelashes fluttered, and those green-grey eyes that Qui-Gon
knew he could forever loss himself in, were looking at him. The
boy sobbed.
"M-ma-master?"
"Yes, Obi, beloved, I'm here. Shhhh You're not alone anymore."
Qui-Gon could tell that even though all that Obi-Wan had gone
through he had not turned from the Light once. He had never
given in to anger towards Xanatos. His poor, brave, strong
Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan shaked his head minutely. "No. Y-your...not r-real."
"No, Obi." Qui-Gon leaned closed to the cut up face "I'm here,
love, I'm here. I real."
"Wh-why d-din't y-you help me? Why? T-the bond? H-he d-did
th-this be-because of y-you. I lo-loved y-you. I st-still do. I
a-always w-will. W-why c-can't y-you lo-love me?"
With that the boy sobbed one last time and lay still, never to
take another breath. Qui-Gon felt the training bond shatter
between them.
"Noooooooooo. Obi-Wan, no. No, love." Qui-Gon gathered him in
his arms sobbing over the now cooling body of the man he loved
more than anything. "No, please, no. Mace, Yoda help me. It's
not too late, we can save him."
"No, Qui-Gon, it's too late, I'm sorry." Mace laid a comforting
hand on his distraught friend's shoulder."
"No, no, no, no. Please Force, please just give me another
chance. One more chance. I'll make everything up to him.
Please, I love him. Please. Please Just another chance.
"Qui-Gon 's words ended in sobs as he cried over his lost love.
Yoda and Mace could only mourn silently next to him. Several
hours later, they were finally able to give Obi-Wan a funeral
befitting a Jedi.
Qui-Gon had cut his braid and now held it next to his heart
watching the dancing flames take away his love's body, making a
promise to both himself and his love that Xanatos would be
brought to justice. Obi-Wan had never strayed from the Light,
and he vowed to where ever Obi was that he would never either.
That he would not give Xanatos that final victory.
-Epilogue-
"What is your bidding, my Master?"
"All has gone as planned, young Xanatos?"
"Yes, my Master. I watched the hidden camera to make certain."
Darth Sideous cackled evilly. "So they believe the boy to be
dead?"
"Yes, Master. The clone worked marvelously. All three were
completely fooled. Qui-Gon believed it was his precious Padawan
lying there. And the clone repeated the programmed phrases
perfectly. I also severed the training bond between Qui-Gon and
the real Obi-Wan when 'Obi-Wan' 'died'."
"Good, good. You will finish having your revenge on your
ex-Master, my young Xanatos. I swear. This is only the
beginning. Imagine his surprise in a few years when he finds
out his beloved never dies but was in the hands of the Sith the
whole time, and is no he himself a Sith."
Xanatos laughed. "Yes, Master. I cannot wait."
"Yes, this young Kenobi will make a fine apprentice. You have
eliminated Maul haven't you?"
"Who do you think we used as the main composition for the
clone? Behog does excellent work Master."
Sideous cackled again. "Good, good. You will bring young Kenobi
to me. What fools the Jedi are. The Chosen One is amongst their
midst for years, and they have not even a clue. He will become
my apprentice, and with him the Power shall be be in the Dark's
favor one and for all."
The End (to be continued in the next story "Given Another
Chance")
I hope you all enjoyed and remember... When you go into court,
you are putting yourself in the hands of 12 people who weren't
smart enough to get out of jury duty.
