Summary: After the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan's POV
Disclaimer: The first line was shamelessly stolen from an
Indigo Girls song, "You and me and the 10,000 Wars."
After the battle, and we're still around
All we knew has now gone down
Still, we laugh and try not to feel alone
Let the night come. We'll sleep on bones
After the battle, and we're still alive
Let us take pride in the edge of this knife
We have seen darkness, but still we can smile
Let us not despair. At least not for a while
After the battle, and still we can stand
Come, elders, with children by the hand
Off to new shores, to a land we never saw
Off to a new future, and a new war
-end-
